Sous vide was recommended to me to cook meat to perfection. I had never heard of it before. So after some research I bought this amazing little device. Let me tell you it's amazing. On the first try, I tried several fillet steaks. The best prepared steak I have ever eaten in my entire life! And I'm more or less a meat connoisseur. Better than any restaurant or steakhouse I've ever been to. It comes with a small booklet with type of meat, temperature and time. I was very surprised, almost all the time is 2 HOURS! That might seem like a lot, but since you can just leave it and come back later, it's still very handy. Meat MUST be 100% thawed before use. I learned this the hard way. It heats water quickly and maintains a constant temperature. I've been using it daily for about a week. I love it and just wish I had known sooner.
