Review on Craftsman 42-Inch Hi-Speed Tow Lawn Sweeper, CMXGZBF7124266 Width Red by Lisa Starcher

This is a great sweeper, but Craftsman really needs to improve their packaging. I picked up two Craftsman lawn tools, this sweeper and a trailer to tow behind the lawn tractor, and both came in such minimal packaging that it makes them prone to dents or damage. I think they're packaged in a way that they would normally have been shipped to a store. So they'd be on one truck just shipped to wherever they're going, with minimal moving and handling. But this isn't the case any more.These aren't small packages when they come shipped to you. They're huge, very heavy and often times along the way they seem to be handled pretty roughly. The packages are so large, they get dragged around and banged up, and when there's nothing more than a thin piece of cardboard between the product and the outside world, then the metal gets dented, parts get bent out of shape, etc. I was fortunate and my sweeper had just a few smaller dents in it, but after seeing so many other people mention the packaging issues, this seems like far from an isolated issue.The sweeper itself does take some time to assemble. But once together it works very well. It tows easily behind the lawn tractor and the hopper on the back dumps without getting hung up. Very nice sweeper, Craftsman just needs to upgrade their packaging to something stronger than what they use to ship products to stores.
