When was the last time you had the pleasure of cleaning the wheels of your car or SUV? Of course, cleaning the outer tire and wheel is easy, but the inside is no easy task. You know those spots where dirt and brake dust accumulate in an uncontrolled manner. It's a tough task, but when done right, the reward is a shiny, clean wheel that enhances the look of your car. First use a detergent that will remove larger deposits, then rinse the inside of the wheel with running water from a hose while cleaning. This approach speeds up the process of washing away dirt and allows you to monitor progress and identify missed spots. The second step after rinsing the wheel with water is to use the second bucket to wash and the ceramic cleaner and wax. The brush cleans and waxes the inner edge, making it hydrophobic. WASHING Woolly is easy to wash: use a microfiber safe cleaning process. Remove the cover and toss it in the washing machine with a microfiber-safe detergent. Wash in lukewarm/hot water below 140°F on a heavy wash cycle. Wash alone as the product has been used to clean abrasive dirt. It's also safe to dry if you use a very low heat setting. COLUMN NUT CLEANER Of particular note is the built-in foam nut cleaner, which is attached to the other end of the plastic frame. Although useful in a pinch, a dedicated detailing brush may be the best choice for reaching deeply recessed areas of lug nuts.
