Oh my god, could this be cuter? I'm so glad I chose orange as there is so much black in my wardrobe and it adds a much needed pop of color. This is not a safe conical orange but more of a reddish orange. Very flattering and surprisingly neutral. I paired it with navy blue, cream, khaki, faded blue jeans, a few shades of brown and of course black. This jacket works more than I expected! I love the special touches like the epaulettes and gold buttons. The zipper is all metal and all pockets are closed with either buttons or zippers. This is a lightweight 100% cotton canvas jacket that is long enough to cover the hips and has an internal tie at the waist to give it some shape. The hood also has a drawcord if you're so inclined. This is the type of jacket to wear underneath or wear in early fall, late spring or just when summer evenings turn chilly. The fabric is a decent weight but the jacket itself is unlined. It looks and feels really high quality and I'm very happy with my choice!
