I was looking for an unobtrusive spare tire case for my new Rubicon and found a whole range relatively cheaper ($15-$20) that had very mixed reviews. The next move up seems to be in the $50+ region, so this case hits the sweet spot at around $30. The 32 x 11 fit my standard R17 Rubicon short tires very snugly and snugly. The material is dense with an inner lining. Its texture resembles something between vinyl and rubber. It's matte black. My main purpose for this case is to protect spare parts from the elements and - hope is everlasting - to deter opportunistic theft.
