No, it's not weakened. Before you install and tighten the tiny mounting screws, you must tighten the internal screws that attach the heated towel rail arms. Installation is not difficult and no 3 hands are required. I have already installed it twice because I had to tighten the screws on the inner arm of the towel radiator. Tiny mounting screws are tightened but not fully. Anyone who wrote that they would never tighten was either wrong or changed the product. Please note that the included anchor bolts are junk. I had to use something from my own collection. They behave like stripped screws with very small screwdriver slots in their heads. Colour: Closer to burnt copper to be true and not as dark as bronze rubbed with oil. Very heavy, not tin or cheap as some here have suggested. I didn't expect anything better from big companies. The glass is frosted and looks very classic. It looks hardened and not cheap. A real towel rail feels a little flimsy, I wouldn't recommend lighting it next to small children who might bend it when hanging. Great product that no one will ever find cheap, love it!
