I ordered this DVR to replace the DVR that came with my security cameras. I have old non-HD cameras and when one of them broke I had a hard time finding a replacement that would work with my old DVR. Since this DVR can handle multiple different camera types and resolutions automatically, I won't have this problem anymore. My old DVR worked fine with Windows XP but always had issues with Windows 10. I was very pleased to find that Evtevision DVR worked seamlessly with Windows 10 and easily integrated with the existing DDNS service I had set up. The internet connection was very easy to set up. Initially, I had an issue with the device constantly resetting, making it impossible to connect over the internet, which of course affected the cameras' recording ability. I contacted Evtevision support through Revain sales news and they sent me a software update to install with a flash drive. The software update was successful and the new software solved all my problems. I also bought a 3TB WD Purple hard drive for this and the dash cam works great with that hard drive. The DVR permanently stores information about all cameras and you can keep a log of the detected motions to make it easier to find the video you want.
