It has been 2 months since I bought this in black. I just wanted to clarify a few points I've read in other reviews. I've seen people say that the diameter of the rings is wrong. I suspect they had trouble fitting and got it wrong being too big due to the rings not being beveled for the most part. The smaller hinge part has a small protrusion that makes it easier to insert this way. So I don't think people get it wrong about the size. You just have trouble inserting a piece with a flat edge. I was having trouble with mine until I found out. And I wanted to clarify one more thing. I noticed in a review that the coating rubs off very easily. As I said, I'm 2 months now, 2 on my lip and one on my nose. There are no scratch marks on any of them. So I would say to anyone looking at this product that it is good and you will be as happy as I am. When inserting the piercing, just pay attention to the bevel. Take care! Catherine
