At work I have a small heater under my desk as there is no heater in my office. The heated air blowing out from under the table dries out my skin and builds up a strong static charge in my hair. I only get static hair at work. I read something about what could be causing the problem and found that lack of moisture could be the culprit. I found this gem of a device and immediately ordered it. It arrived within a few days. I couldn't believe how small it was. Perfect size for my desk. My pencil case is taller. I filled it with filtered water, plugged it into my computer and turned it on. I like the lighting settings on the bottom, which can be brighter or dimmer. After a few minutes a thin mist came out. This little machine is completely silent and sits stylishly on my desk. My table heater still works and my skin no longer dries out and there is no static electricity in my hair even when I run my fingers through my hair. I love it!
