I was hopeful based on the reviews. After purchasing the hooks, I was contacted by a GERUIKE customer service representative via email to follow up for feedback or questions if I had any issues. I installed the hooks following the instructions, however, I only waited the minimum 24 hours for the adhesive to cure. The mounting stickers caused significant damage to the paint on the walls upon removal, causing it to blister and peel. Both hooks dismounted from the wall within an hour after hanging a single bath towel on one and a robe on the other. The adhesive from the hooks also damaged the paint on the wall at the application site causing the same blistering and peeling as the mounting sticker. I contacted the customer service representative that had emailed me and explained what happened. After several emails where I had to keep repeating myself to communicate that I had followed directions, I was told to reinstall the hooks and allow them to set for 48 hours. One hook came down after a week, the second hook remains (for now), and a large patch of sanding and touch-up paint is needed around both mounting locations. I accept partial responsibility as the hooks may have been more effective if I had allowed them to set longer, but the paint damage from the adhesive is a defect of the product. The customer service representative never followed up to see if the second installation worked, and neither did I since it was so frustrating to communicate with them in the first place. I tried the hooks since I am a renter and the property manager advised that I avoid using nails or creating holes in the wall since this is a newer apartment but I feel like a little spackle upon move-out would have been better.
