Works as described for ALL large cell phones with cases
I actually have a Note 4 (mainly because later Notes removed some of the features I regularly use in 4) but this is the best mount I've found. I've found others that work quite well. IF I remove the case the coil is problematic if you are using an Otterbox as you really say. With this mount, it's easy enough to put the phone in, and it's usually done with one hand.
