I broke 3 of these blades within days of receiving them. Let's assume the first two were my fault. I hadn't adjusted the guides optimally and didn't notice that the two lower guide bearings were jammed. After the first two, I learned how to optimally set up a bandsaw (from handyman Alex Snodgrass) and changed guides. Everything was set up perfectly. I cut 14 circles on the template the first day; maple and oak. On the second day, I started cutting the soft cedar with my free hand. CLICK! Not sure if it was a weak weld or resistance from the blade dulling too quickly. Either way, these blades just aren't durable. As another reviewer mentioned, I can hear the weld ticking when the blade is working. I didn't know it was a blade and tried to adjust the setting to get rid of the ticking, which I now realize can't be done because the weld is too thick. I suggest you spend more and get more. I ended up at Powertec.
