I hate to call my cat a picky eater, but he is a picky eater. I rarely put canned cat food in it and he just eats it right away. Sometimes he eats a bit and then goes away and then maybe goes back to it. It really just depends on his mood and day. Today he likes food, the next day he doesn't. Trying new food is always difficult. So this cat food is packaged in a box that almost reminds me of milk. This is a durable cardboard container with a unique opening method. The top is bent and needs trimming. This is not the most convenient and fastest option. There's also no reseal option unless you want to use the entire box. The food is made in the United States and the ingredients are sourced from the US and around the world. The box is quite detailed and has a lot of useful information about ingredients, analysis, feeding instructions, their beliefs, etc. One of the things that really struck me was that they say it's not about feed quality, it's about human quality. I open the box and it feels like opening a can of tuna. Honestly, it smells pretty fishy, but it's a very clean, fishy scent. It doesn't smell bad or gross. It really smells just like eland tuna. Kate is a smooth pie with a slight lumpiness. It came out easily and I didn't have to pick it up. My cat loved this food. He immediately started consuming it, which is unusual for him. I am very satisfied with the presentation and the ingredients of the food. I don't like how you have to open it, but I feel like it's nothing to argue about. My cat was a big fan of the cod flavor.
