There are a few things related to bike maintenance that I do without swearing. Even if I buy a proprietary tool anyway, everything seems to go wrong. Until I got this tool. Serious. The thing is well made, logically structured and foolproof. You insert a guide that has a collar to sit on top of the stem so it doesn't fall off/shift (awesome), you insert a star nut, insert a punch and bam. PERFECT set of nuts. I thought the lack of threads on the punch would cause play, but that's actually a better design. Instead of applying the force to the threads, it is applied to the top of the claw nut. Fabulous. Now I'm going to buy some new forks to put the star nuts in!
