These lanterns have so many advantages and disadvantages. 1. Plus - well made from not cheap plastic, the headlights have 2 modes - full bright and soft dim light. The touch button works great and they are very easy to install. The negative now is the blue light that stays on, very bright in a dark room, so bright I had to put a piece of black tape on it to dim it (the touch button still worked). When installing the base for the second time, you'd better make sure the touch button is rotated where you want it, because once you snap the outer cover in place, it's nearly impossible to remove again (one broke, as she tried to get back in). it would be nice if there was a different color.
