Due to the faint but visible grid lines on the screen protector, the fingerprint scanner keeps failing to register fingers. It got so bad that I had to re-enter the fingerprint data with the protective sheet on so the fingerprint scanner could recognize the dots on the protective sheet. After that it works much better. The installation process was easy BUT you have to make sure it fits snugly otherwise if the phone falls it will fall off, defeating the purpose of the screen protector. It's clear but as mentioned the grid points are noticeable when light hits the screen and there are 2 very visible lines on the curves of the screen from the protective sheet even though I pressed them in. It's far from ideal, but it's not. this is bad. It's cheap and makes you wonder why LG VELVET has such bad third-party accessories.
