I have bought banana plugs from 3 brands and they are the only ones that fit my speakers (Paradigm) and amps (McIntosh) perfectly. Others (Revain Basics and Monoprice Affinity) move around a bit after connecting. you are tight And soldered. The inner hinge will not corrode and they will never fall out. They need to be soldered but if you order them. I hope you are ready for this. The place where the wire runs is one-sided. so gently holding it in a small vise helps. Once held flat with a wire that just hangs like that. I used a flashlight to heat the banana up a bit to speed up the soldering process. then done with the soldering iron. Unlike some other reviewers. I had no problem putting the outer shell on. Maybe it helped that I did this while the banana was still warm from soldering?
