I have other PNY actuators and have never had a problem. However, this was a problem from the start. The pc couldn't always see it. and it will fluctuate in speed, sometimes it will boil, and then suddenly it will really draw. So, the disk formatted, fully formatted. I haven't won anything. A few times, however, the computer saw it. and now the TV doesn't see it at all. So I bought it, tuned in to the movies and watched it on TV. My smaller PNY does the job well, but I figured I'd have access to more at once. NO. Now the TV doesn't see it at all. Save your money, buy a smaller one somewhere like FartMart where at least if you have problems, they return it immediately. This update is for anyone who might be interested. This isn't a 512GB drive as advertised, turns out it only formats up to 32GB! So today is June 20th. The drive has been formatted multiple times and is still inaccessible. Also, the seller informed me that this is only a 462GB drive! this is quite different from the advertised 512GB!
