Review on 🐴 Poly Rope Halter with Lead for Miniature Horses - Tough 1 product by Michael Vargas

2nd UPDATE: I bought 2 more of these little halters for our mini donkey and mini pony mare. The smaller size suits these two small horses very well. Better than the larger size fits my 1 year old (she's bigger than the other two). I really like the soft feel of the halters. They match their muzzles very well. UPDATE: We brought home our 1 year old mini pony and this halter fits her very well with some room to grow. The softness of the rope is great for her delicate face. Since it's too big for her at the moment, I learned to tie the crown in 2 knots to cut off the excess length so it doesn't get in her eyes when she shakes her head. The lead rope is still a bit small in diameter and length, but not too good to put it around the belt. The halter also fits our 12-2 HH pony but it is tight so I am currently looking for a similar halter (soft rope) slightly larger for it. We haven't received our mini house yet but I like the feel of this halter. It's not very rigid but rather flexible. The red color is very bright and appears to be pure red rather than orange. In my opinion, the guide rope could be better if it had a slightly wider diameter. Just because a horse is small doesn't mean the owner/trainer's hands are smaller. A typical lead rope diameter would be more appropriate IMO. It could also be longer, but I'll probably buy cotton rope instead. Looking at the size, it looks like it will fit the Mini we're getting. I will also try it on my 12-2HH pony to see if it suits him. If it fits him it might be too big for the mini, but since it's quite adjustable I can get it to work. Overall though, it looks like decent quality and feel.
