These are very cute pajamas made with excellent fabric at $12.99. My 8 year old usually wears sizes 8-10 so I ordered 12 based on reviews. The top was great and fit well. The bottoms were too long which wouldn't have been a problem as they had elastic BUT the waistband was too big and didn't hold up. I can't think of a smaller top that would fit her, so she's being sent back. My daughter is fairly average height/build for reference. I also ordered 8 for my 5 year old. It's a size 6-7 and a little rail-like. Eight suits him. The bodice is fitted at the bust (again, it's a splint) and the sleeves are a bit long. His pants are long too
