Just installed them in the corners of the dash on my 2021 Chevy 2500 HD. I didn't use the harness connectors because I didn't have them at the time, but I'll go back and solder them on when I install the rest of the speakers. They sound way better. Just hook it up to your factory touchscreen infotainment system and it's powerful enough for those kickers. You can just take 4 Chanel door speaker amps and leave them alone. My advice is to put some blue tape on some of the panels that you don't want to scratch when you take them apart for installation. I'm sure you could put 3.5 inch speakers in the dash. It's deep enough to accommodate a larger speaker, but you'll definitely need to make a few modifications to make the hole bigger.
