I bought these to try in my son's lunch box. They arrived quickly and appeared to be exactly as described. After using it for about a month, I decided I needed to buy something else. They are difficult to open. Especially for children. Lid does not close completely. So, putting fruit or yogurt in small portions is NOT the best idea. General. Also, the lid has a small "tab" that sticks out so you can pull back on the lid to remove it. But the "tongues" break very easily. I only have one cover left that still has a flap. (Lids without a tab are now even more difficult to remove.) Honestly, I would love if the lids were more flexible and seal better. I didn't use a fork/spoon but that seems very helpful. It has a serrated prong for knife use. (It's like a butter knife, not sharp.) And a sandwich knife works well too. In general, it's not scary. But I would recommend only using it for adults or older children. And to keep it very stable when you use it on wet/liquid items.
