I used this to make a dog paw print for a greeting card. That was the first time I thought about finding something like this. I used to take my dog's paw and put it first on the ink pad and then on the paper/card. It was obviously a mess. Then I saw that they were used for babies and thought they would be perfect for my dog's paw. Please note that the ink is a lot heavier than I expected! I didn't have to squeeze my dog's paw as hard as I did. A lot of ink was put on the card and even after standing in air for several days to dry the ink, the ink does not dry 100%. I touched it with my finger and the black ink came off my finger. So I'm disappointed that the ink doesn't dry 100%. I don't know if I had a lighter touch when I put my dog's paw on the pad, would it matter or not? However, it is 100% better and easier than using a real ink pad.
