*NOTE: Product is plastic charger/frame only, switch not included*Very comfortable to hold when assembled - side handles are comfortable to hold. When fully assembled it is configured similar to the Pro Universal Controller. The Switch controllers slide in fairly easily - I always seem to have to take a few tries to get things going from the R side. The center console slides in and out of the frame with the controllers attached, so there is no need to remove them when you switch controls. It's a bit hard to hold if it's just the middle charging pad, so this configuration is optimal for gaming. But when the charging pad is removed from the case it's a nice flat charging station - it's easy to pack when you're on the move, it fits in a box, you can take it with you in the car etc. The charging port is on the Pause. controller. We have a charging cable next to the couch so charging while gaming isn't too frustrating. To be honest, using the charger while gaming depends on the position of the cable. All in all a good accessory for the Switch. How much benefit it brings/requires really depends on who is using it. I can see that some gamers are really enjoying this additional controller skin, while gamers who use the Switch pad most of the time might not get as much use out of it. The Switch is mostly played with a controller in our house - the TV shows a Mario Kart or Pikmin game from time to time - so while we have it and it's been useful at times, it goes unused more often than not. However, when we used it during multiplayer games it was a pleasure to charge when needed and even when not in use it's comfortable and feels like a professional controller. I recommend.
