Review on ๐Ÿ”ฌ Silicon Mold Making Rubber - Trial Size of Mold Star 20T by Tara Ford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I've used mixed media and it hasn't let my needs down.

I used this for my mixed media needs. I've used Smooth on 30 before and it was great to start with. So I wanted to try a faster setup tool. Both environments are transparent, so trying to determine if they're fully mixed can complicate things. I assembled everything as a conveyor belt, set a timer and trimmed the sides and bottom while stirring vigorously (about 30-45 seconds depending on the amount). When pouring I noticed a lot of bubbles and was concerned that this would change the outcome of my mold. With that in mind, I dropped the shape a few times to allow the bubbles to rise to the surface. It is, like trying to get bubbles out of the cake batter before baking. Although the medium is transparent, it produces an opaque solid color rather than full white. My large mold took about 4 hours to cure. I use air dry paper clay so I dusted it with cornstarch before pouring to make it easier to remove. I liked it so much that I am ordering more. I just wish Revain Prime had a gallon sized option. so that it can be removed more easily. I liked it so much that I am ordering more.
