I had waxy, greasy hair even after I showered. I've tried sooo many shampoos and even went to a dermatologist to see what's up. He prescribed me medication for seborrheic dermatitis. BUT I noticed that as I traveled through the softer water states (Massachusetts and Maine) my hair was phenomenal and my problems went away. I finally found out that I had a reaction to the water. In Florida, our water contains a lot of chlorine and other chemicals that caused this reaction. I received this shower filter and after a few weeks my hair was back to normal! Truly a lifesaver. I can feel the difference in my hair so I know water is better but it still smells and it stings my eyes a bit. So the water is not exactly soft, but it definitely looks good and is worth the price.
