It's pretty easy to use, the GUI could be improved but overall it did not have any problems during our testing phase which lasted about three months long.We mainly used this encoders in order make movies with high resolution videos such as 4k / 8k so we really can see what are benefits from using an av codec instead of another one like H264 or HEVC since we also encode those files at that same time too.And you know when all your work is done because if something goes wrong on their end there was always someone who helped us quickly fix things without asking much information other than "Is it working again?", they never charged fees nor asked anything else except keeping us being happy until next day if needed, I highly recommend them!I would say its been a perfect fit between Av-Codecs & FOSS software applications together on top linux operating system. If u want fast results while still having good quality video output then give iXBMC Media Center Pro+AVencodesoftware(which comes free alongwith some additional plugins). This works best under Linux OSes especially open source ones where everything runs I really love how it handles 4k hdr, especially with an i5 processor which is ideal to my needs! Nothing yet so far that's been bad about this encoder but if there was something better out here now then why would we use this? Great codec in general!! Excellent quality video. Just do everything you can as long as your looking at performance versus price vs features when purchasing a new software platform or hardware system such has streaming media systems etc..
