Great switch works as it says

This wired up to my 3-way stairway switch just perfectly. Those having trouble I suspect just aren’t wiring it correctly. Pro tip: to keep the light switch from triggering across all 180 degrees that it "sees” simply apply transparent scotch tape to the part you want to block. In my case, this allows me to keep the stair light from going on when walking past the open stairway. Works like a charm. I was afraid at this low price the switch would be cheap but it seems every bit as solid as more expensive brands.
