Easy and user friendly configuration software
The best thing about this tool, it's very easy to use with intuitive interface that makes my work easier in terms of design management as well as product development life cycle (PDLC).
I have no complaints at least so far since we started using configurator cet designer version 8 which was released few months ago! We are solving our inventory issues by implementing CED into CAD model where before there were many manual entries required from us each time when new part or subassembly needs manufacturing/production order entry etc..
Pros
- Easy way for managing changes made during PDCA process through PQM system.Easy implementation & maintenance too if you want all your parts information kept within one common repository / database instead having them scattered across different systems
- ERP , EAM tools like SAP APO(sap bpm), Microsoft Dynamics AX
