We only responded well to the sound alarm with our pointer. We rarely had to use vibration, but when we did it stopped immediately, even on a low level, which it did. We had little success with the shock function. We felt the need to use it in several situations where it returns to bad behavior and it may or may not work. Also, the orange button can get stuck, in which case you can press it all day and nothing will happen. We've adapted and see if it's stuck. BUT we would have kept the collar and used it if the housing holding the collar to the device hadn't broke last night. The pup chased the ball and we noticed the device flapping on the collar. We will come back and plan to buy more.
