First time. Revane, are you alright, buddy? Taste?! Should I rate the TASTE score of my hot pot? Ok, 1 star. Tastes like blue. I've had it for a few months now. It is used regularly. This is a hot pot. It boils water quickly and I suspect more efficiently than my microwave or stovetop. It looks good on my counter so it lives there. It's made of clear glass with black plastic and a shiny stainless steel heating base (just like the pictures!). The beautiful blue light is good for highlighting any dancing bubbles that appear during use. It's also a simple indicator to show when it's reached its maximum temperature and shut down. Which is nice too. The switch beeps when turned off. Not annoying, but enough when you're in the room you can hear it being done without even looking. I don't usually let it last that long. It's easy to see when it's boiling or when you want to stop it to collect water. The handle is large and feels good in the hand. The lid also opens at the touch of a button, although it doesn't need to be poured out. It can be easily removed and reinstalled on the base. It's easy to clean. With the lid open, I can put my hand and sponge in it. No fancy special brushes needed.
