Review on 🧲 20 oz CamelBak Chute Magnetic Water Bottle by Jimmy Garcia

I've been using Camelbak in bottles for 6 years. I started with the Eddy, which I liked for its easy one-handed use and nice drinking straw, but it got dirty easily and got moldy at times. I've been using the Original Chute for 3 years and absolutely love it. It is very easy to care for and has no mold-prone parts. The lid is easy to open with one hand while working on your computer at work. In fact, depending on how high you tilted the bottle, you had to hold the cap open with your index finger while drinking so it didn't come into contact with your face. Hold the cap by tipping the bottle very high. I was wrong! The cap is almost impossible and very awkward to open with one hand. It's slippery and requires about three times more turns than the previous bottle, but even after the tricky task of unscrewing it, it's nearly impossible to detach the cap to open it with one hand. This prevents water consumption during work or during class. After finally opening it (with two hands and much more effort) the magnet works as advertised but I don't see the point. If you were going to use two hands, an old bottle is still better as you could just use the other hand to hold the cap. I will be returning this bottle and ordering more of the old bottle and hope Camelbak doesn't get discontinued!
