Saved me from my hungry dog!
Very glad I found this. A friend of mine had a rental car in which he preferred to press all the buttons on one key. So the primary responsibility lies with you, not them. My dog decided to chew on the keys and ruined 2 keyrings! Fortunately, the chips in the key fobs were almost 100% intact. There was one button that wasn't quite right. I was able to combine the new keychain shells and some innards with the innards from the old keychains and it worked great! Saved hundreds of dollars.
