Review on Olympus 142665 DM 620 Voice Recorder by Young Toulson

I like this device. But when I play above 2.4x the buttons become unresponsive. So I need to remove and replace the battery and restart the device, as per the manual (Olympus CS) I went through it and confirmed that the device should run at 3.0x speed with no issues. So what I got was defective. Even the firmware fell two turns. the software on the CD contained these updates. Many thanks to Audible support as they had to make adjustments to my computer so I could transfer "books" to this device. It's nice to hear an hour of "book" or lecture etc in 25 minutes (60/2.4) if I want to. but it might be better to do it in 20min 60/3.0. The device supports audio level 4 (and 3) but not E (enhanced), but I didn't notice any annoying difference in my listening experience. Kind of like standard TV versus HD. most people won't notice. (I am blessed and cursed with a golden ear). handles high kbps MP3 or WMA files well. I have music for meditation/relaxation. and other ecstatic experiences ;) copes well with the recording. Great to have in your pocket for doctor visits etc. (That's what she/he actually said. Or my mind was playing mean tricks on me. What they said wasn't what I 'heard').
