SUPER PROTECTION 55 mph HWY tested

I NEVER write reviews but I had to share these! I was skeptical that this case would protect the screen or hold it together when subjected to the rigors of a fall. I'm here to tell you it works damn well. Ever had a morning where you rushed to put things on the hood of your car with every intention of shoving it in the car when you picked it up? but not? Well I accidentally left my brand new 5 day old iPad in the exact same spot and flew away. It has great traction because it stuck to my car for 3 miles at 30-40mph making various corners. As I pulled into the driveway I started accelerating to 50, at 55 mph something flew to my windshield and hit it, then catapulted itself into the road behind me. I watched him do various somersaults and somersaults of freedom as I sped off, not realizing it was my tablet. I couldn't figure out what the big but soft object was that hit the windshield so hard, so I wondered if it could be something I left in the car. I dismissed the idea as silly because what was so black?!?! And then it dawned on me. I used the tracker to locate my iPad and it confirmed my worst fears that my tablet, which I had just received and placed in a cheap case, was sitting at the edge of the freeway. After wandering around a bit I found it on the side of the road on the hard shoulder with only that deep scratch on the body! My tablet is completely undamaged! I am shocked! I don't recommend a 55 mile test, but if it happens to you, rest assured! I'll have to replace the case, but I'll be happy to do it. The only thing I don't like about this case is that the screen cover is as transparent as oil, requiring you to watch movies and such from a certain angle. For me it was no problem. Edit: It's 5/20 now and I've never replaced the case. Still works great. The stand's legs fell off, but got up again. The damage to the protective film has disappeared over time. My 4 year old uses my tablet daily and hasn't destroyed it yet. bonus points. Edit: It's now 7/27/21 and we're still using that case. There's no reason not to. Perfect. The footrests fell off. Doesn't matter? My 6 year old lugs it everywhere and rings it and the tablet doesn't hurt at all.
