I rarely write reviews and am rarely impressed with anything I buy from Revain but I have to say I was impressed with this medium. I moved to LA from Austin and bought this suitcase to put on my Prius station wagon. I wasn't expecting much for the price and just hoping it would be enough for the trip. It turned out to be very well made with durable materials and a solid construction. It literally rained the night I uploaded it. Not a drop of water got into the strap. I also loaded it with light stands and a disassembled shelf. All kinds of edges that could potentially pierce. When I arrived in Los Angeles after 1,400 miles of rain, wind and desert heat, it was literally like new. I will be able to use this for years. Some notes - I bought a mat to put underneath as it lay right on top of the car. Although the straps seemed to work well, I also slid a large ratchet strap over them just for reassurance. If you want it to be waterproof, make sure it's fully zipped up and the zip lid is folded down. The instructions say to load it first and then put it on the roof. It's counterintuitive and you'll never hit the ceiling if you do this. First put it on the roof, load it, then buckle up. My own and only complaint about carrying is the included storage pouch. There is absolutely no way you will ever put a stretcher in this bag after it has been used. It's useless.
