I'm an interior and furnishing designer, FIRST. I LOVE H+C glasses. They are well designed, consistently high quality, and make a good gift. I also make candles and all satin black LOVE H+C glasses. These glasses are just like that - not white. This is a very pale 'toned colour' that is best described as hints of gray lavender (cool purple). As previous bloggers mention. My photo shows a can next to a white glass container with BOTH sitting on the "permanent self-adhesive paper" of professional (label) printers. this is the default "soft white paper". Unfortunately, the printed labels could not be stuck onto the can of this H+C - they would literally collide with the can. H+C: You have such GREAT cans, please consider a new white color for your next batch. Check out Benjamin Moore's Chantilly White, Snowfall White or Cotton Ball White (all soft whites that complement weddings/events and home decor well!). If you want "optical white," check out BM's "Super White" and Behr's "Ultra White."
