Review on JGRZF Bike Computer: Wireless Speedometer and Odometer with Backlight, Waterproof LCD Display – Ideal for Outdoor Cycling and Fitness (Wireless Computer) by Antoine Cash

This is a VERY impressive device!

Used mainly on a motorcycle. It has a 21" front wheel and the pickup cable could not have been an inch shorter, although I'm sure extending it would not be a problem. The display is very easy to read during the day and unlike many others, the night light can be on all the time. I was surprised by the build quality and the mount is well designed and solid. The instructions were also well written and I found it easy to follow. I didn't use the spoke magnet that came with it, but rather two extremely strong neodymium button magnets attached to the front brake disc. It took me two to achieve the required less than 3mm spacing between them and the pickup. Simply the perfect solution for my needs! Update: I had to lengthen the grip cable as full extension of the fork turned out to be a bit short on jumps. The cable has 2 wires and the wiring is very thin. Caution is advised as both cores are very thin. the wiring used in cheap headphones is also a 2x conductor, almost the same diameter, and works fine. The smallest heat shrink tube will shrink enough to seal both wire connections and the speedometer will still work great. I set the MM value to 1050mm and it shows true GPS speed. If you use it with a rotor mounted magnet like I did, it will probably be about the same, but you'll probably have to experiment to get it exactly the way I did. It's also easy to do.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • boring packaging
