I used to be a huge fan of Hanke, but now I would advise anyone to stay away from their merchandise. The quality of their baggage and other travel accessories has significantly decreased, and after only a few uses, zippers have broken and handles have fallen off of their bags entirely. The shoes offer insufficient arch support and wear out very quickly, making long distance walking uncomfortable and leading to calluses. The clothing and accessory collections have lost their originality and are now priced excessively for the level of quality they offer. There is evidence that they exploit labor in developing countries, despite the fact that they claim to follow sustainable and responsible production practices in the manufacturing process. The customer service has also deteriorated, with staff members being inefficient and not being knowledgeable about the products. When looking at the big picture, Hanke is no longer a brand that can be trusted by discerning consumers who demand quality, durability, and production methods that are ethical.
