Review on 🎧 Qudelix-5K Bluetooth USB DAC AMP LDAC aptX Adaptive aptX HD AAC Dual ES9218p 3.5mm Unbalanced & 2.5mm Balanced Output by Cindy Roffelsen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Drop BTR5, get 5K instead

Fiio bit stability rules. I used to have fiio btr5. This is such a disappointment after all the rainbows I hear from the internet. Then again, 5k is awesome right out of the box. Smaller form factor, more stable connection, many more settings and LDAC works on BT with no issues. This is something I hope btr5 can pull off, but unfortunately not. The disadvantages of 5k are as follows: 1. The balance of 2.5mm is too close to 3.5mm2. The buttons feel too weak and easy to accidentally press.3. Case missing 4. There is no indication on the buttons. But apart from the disadvantages, I accept that without any problems. Muscle memory can easily recognize buttons and functions. And a note for those wondering if 5k can run full pots. I tested it on philip fidelio x2hr, sennheiser hd6xx, beyer custom one pro. The volume is around 70-80% with a lot of room for improvement. In summary, this is a gem in itself. Even though some reviews said the BTR5 is the best Bluetooth DAC (maybe I have a faulty device), the 5k is my best choice for a Bluetooth DAC in my opinion.
