Very happy with this product

This review is for the 500W Hygger Heater with Digital Temperature Controller (Model HG-925). I have been keeping fish for over 40 years and have used countless heaters and I have to say I am very happy with this model! This heater sits in my 90g Severum and Angel tank and replaces two other heaters that were having problems and just didn't trust them anymore. What I liked: 1. This is really reliable insulation. Over the years, some of my larger cichlids have had their heaters broken. While Severums aren't monsters, they can rock things in the tank a bit. I feel this Hygger heater is more than durable enough to get the job done. It comes with a thick cage to protect it. * My aquarium is 30 inches deep and the top is over 5 feet tall. My other heaters don't have a cord long enough to reach an outlet without an extension cord. It had a long enough cord to work perfectly! The cable also seems very heavy! *One thing I hate about every immersion heater I own is lousy suction cups! They always come off. These suction cups were strong enough that I had to fiddle around a bit to adjust them after changing my mind about placement. When I took it out of the box, I noticed that the controller has a suction cup to connect it to the outside of the tank. I was very afraid it would fall off until I glued it to the glass. I don't think it's going anywhere!* I've never had a heater with a separate digital temperature controller. I think it will ruin me and I will probably replace the heaters in my other tanks with similar ones. I always have trouble seeing the dials on my old heaters. This one is very easy to set up and I have no problem reading the numbers. Since my tank is so big, I had to use a stool to see the dials. I can stick this controller anywhere and read it easily. So far I haven't experienced anything that I didn't like. Attached is a photo of his work in my aquarium.
