Peeling thick paint overshadows

Paint on stems is heavy, glossy, plastic and will flake. That far outweighs everything else. There are obvious gaps on a real topiary ball, although the leaves themselves are fine. The bottom is nice and heavy. I received it in an open box but it still seems overpriced considering the issues. I plan on spending some time scraping the peeling paint off the stem and it will go on the high shelf so hopefully it will do. I would not recommend paying full price.
