This is the same brand and style my orthopedist gave me except the one I got carried home from hospital and previously lasted 2 months. Shows signs of wear, to the point where the lining simply fell apart as the two Velcro side braces moved back and forth while walking. (Small entrance area above). I ordered one first, then another replacement for $90 each from Amazon, but the same thing happened. I then found out that I could order replacement pads from my orthodontist for only $40 and I have already worn 4 of these pads. (2 surgeries and a non-union that just hasn't healed in the last 14 months). I've been "stretching" the barrel for the past few months with an old liner that I cut open to mend the ones that were destroyed by velcro, but I'm at the point where I need to order again and I Guess I'll have to try another brand sometime. I'm 6ft 3" and suspect I'm having trouble with the level effect, but I just can't keep buying boots and liners from my bag like I do now.
