Excellent camera; extremely happy. I really advise it to anyone searching for their first DSLR. You won't be dissatisfied because it is simple to use, practical, affordable, and produces excellent images. From the D3100, D5000, Pentax K-R, and Canon 500D, I choose my first DSLR. I have read numerous reviews. So I made the decision to touch it once rather than read it a thousand times. I scrutinized and rotated every camera I had in my possession while tormenting the vendors. Yet, I came to the conclusion that the D3100 is the best option available because it is simple to use (which is crucial), practical, affordable, fits nicely in your hand, and is in fact aesthetically and spiritually pleasant. Simply put, I preferred it more (although this is very subjective).
