It looks like a rats nest

I had to shorten my 75 foot coax cable that connected to my outdoor antenna. It was starting to look like a rats nest but I didn't want to use another cable as the one I had was fine. I've never used anything like this before, so I was a little apprehensive about how to do it. After searching for scraps of cable for a few minutes, I noticed that it doesn't cut two separate cuts like it should. After watching a few videos, I learned that both blades on the cutter are adjustable. I used the included hex key that came with the kit and did a quick setup (first blade lifted). The next cut I made was perfect. This left the label sticking out and the plastic inside was perfectly exposed so I could add a connector. All I did was push the connector firmly and twist it a little to make sure the copper wire was flush with the top of the connector. . Then I just put it in a crimping tool and crimped it. It gripped the fit perfectly and was very tight. The crimper is slim and easy to use and very well built. I also love how they give you a range of indoor and outdoor connections. Everything you need to repair or shorten your coaxial cable is included in this kit and it will work with any size as the wire stripper allows you to adapt to different sizes. I recommend it 100%!
