The first thing that struck me was that it looked awfully small. I checked to see if I ordered the child size, but the box says "adult". So got out, put it on and noticed a few things: 1. It's definitely too small. It only reached my first molars. Hey OPRO, what about the rest of my teeth? I took it out, rinsed it out and asked my 10 year old son to try it on. It barely fit in his mouth. This adult mouthguard may be more suitable for a 5 year old child.2. Not only was it small, but it was also uncomfortable, especially for my gums.3. Even if this mouthguard were actually big enough for my mouth, this general purpose loose mouthguard would not protect my teeth from a direct hit to the jaw. I would definitely use a boil guard to soften it up and get a custom fit. Summary: I just had to use my knowledge and buy another cheap Sanabul tray or buy any number of cooking trays available from Revain. Luckily, Revain has great customer service and returns were easy.
