It's cheap. As it was light and after reading other reviews I thought they were perfect for my 7 year old boys who choke very easily. NOT RIGHT! They couldn't stand her. They are super thin. They desperately needed a shock doctor with lip guards because they always thought they were going to swallow this one. I would not recommend it and I will not buy it again.

I'm not sure why I thought this would work without the packaging, but I can't seem to get this mouthguard to 'snap into place'. The height isn't too high and it doesn't go too far back, but it doesn't sit properly in the mouth at all. It's also very thin and flexible, so I'm pretty sure it won't protect at all from a frontal impact. I will be using Koch and Fit mouthguards which should give me better grip as well as better impact protection as they tend to be thicker.

I have used a lot of mouthpieces in boxing and strength training to keep from cracking my teeth and decided to try this brand. I have always boiled my mouthpieces and it says here that no boiling is required but I know it says on the back of the product container if it doesn't fit. Was it great without cooking? no Out of the box, it won't fit your teeth exactly at all, so be prepared to do the same with any other mouthpiece. this mouthguard is good. My son wore it and didn't complain, said it was fine. that is, it will pass because the guys will complain about having to wear a face mask and will call out if they don't like it. I really like that it's not malleable so I can clean/sanitize and take it out as an extra to use on one of my three boys in case their molded mouth guard has a problem or breaks or ends up being chewed. We are delighted to have found this product that sticks better than most other non-boiling mouthguards. My youngest son usually has trouble chewing on his mouthguard during training so we need a product that stays in his mouth.
