We bought this mouthguard for my 6 year old daughter for taekwondo. She's a typical six-year-old and can't remember where she puts things, and being old enough and tall enough to train, losing her mouthguard is a problem. She let her guard down and we had to buy a new one from a pro shop which is expensive so I ordered that one too as we don't need the size and it's pink which is my daughter's favorite colour. It's always a good idea to have a backup. She finds this protection comfortable which is saying something, she has a fairly severe crossbite (yes we have been saving for braces since she was a year old because it was pretty obvious at the time and her dentist agrees so nothing comfortable is guaranteed ). ). Anyway, she seems to protect her (assuming six-year-olds don't hit or kick very hard, but she's been good at sparring so far) and it's comfortable and the color she's happy with.
