I have used a lot of mouthpieces in boxing and strength training to keep from cracking my teeth and decided to try this brand. I have always boiled my mouthpieces and it says here that no boiling is required but I know it says on the back of the product container if it doesn't fit. Was it great without cooking? no Out of the box, it won't fit your teeth exactly at all, so be prepared to do the same with any other mouthpiece. Without a boil, it's just a loose piece of plastic and you'll lose your teeth if it's not installed.
