I found the design would work better with a less stretchy strap. I understand the need for flexibility, but I was too stretched to raise my arm enough to take the weight off my shoulder. When trying to adjust it higher and tighter, the Velcro attachment point fell well on my back and required adjustment while removing it. Even when I put it back on after a tighter adjustment, the double hand hole ring kept coming loose when I pulled it over my head. Yes it flew away, can it cause injury if it flies towards a sensitive part of the body? I feel like I did my best to use it properly. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to return it. It's cooler than a traditional bracelet and will likely work well for smaller people. I fall well below the height stated in the description.
